This article discussed the possibility of the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe using some of its land near Auburn, WA, to build an arena for the Seattle Supersonics National Basketball team. "In 2002, the Muckleshoots spent $73.6 million to buy a 185-acre parcel of land that already houses the Emerald Downs racetrack. The land under consideration for an arena is an undeveloped portion of property between state Route 167 and the racetrack."
