History of the Azusa Street site in Little Tokyo which is described as the birthplace of the Pentecostal Church. The Azusa Street Memorial Committee plans to commemorate the historically significant site by placing a plaque where William Seymour's Azusa Street Mission stood in the early 1900's. Prior to the mission, 312 Azusa Street was owned by Biddy Mason and was home to her Saint Stevens AME Church.
