Ranch includes 49 acres of original 130-acre hill ranch; the ruins of London's dream house,'Wolf House,'destroyed by fire almost immediately after construction; the'House of Happy Walls'erected by the authors'wife (1919), now a museum; and London's grave site. Author Jack London spent the last 11 years of his life here and wrote several of his major novels, including'Valley of the Moon,'during that period."
