Frame, clapboarding; 2 stories, rectangular, hipped roof with intersecting gabled dormers, pedimented sections, columned veranda along 3 sides, high brick and concrete basement, paneled cornice; millwork at eaves, dormers, and porch roof giving saw-tooth effect. 2 outbuildings, alterations (1925). Queen Anne elements. Built for Col. Mark L. McDonalad, financier and community leader.
