Notes:
The central theme of both Neutra's work and his writings was the beneficial impact of a well-designed environment upon the nervous system. And while his so-called'bio-realism'rested largely on unproven arguments linking architectural form to overall health, it is difficult to discredit the extraordinary sensitivity and supra-functional attitude that coloured his whole approach.
