This article discussed a UW Urban Planning class project to redesign the WA town of Entiat, which was facing elimination by flooding due to the construction of a dam at Rocky Reach, WA. Professors Myer Wolfe and Robert Dietz taught the class. Wolfe utilized a case study of Hill, NH, that was flooded by a hyrdoelectric project in 1941 to model how a solution could be developed. Five models were produced by the students in the class.
