Publication Notes
The book summarized the building program: "The Dean of Medicine, Dr. Eugene Baker, sought a design which addressed the notion of collaboration because he believed that research discovery comes from the cross-fertilization of ideas. The two, parallel, four-storey wings consist of three-storeys of laboratories sandwiching the atrium with lifts, stairs, ducts, and bridges taken along the inside face so that the perimetercan be exploited for lighting and ventilating the laboratories."
