"James A. Moore has let the contract for the excavation of the site of the eight-story office building that the Moore Investment Company will erect at the corner of Second Avenue and Seneca Street. The work of preparing the site for the foundation will be done by Marston Bros. for a consideration of $4000. When this is completed, the work of constructing the building will procede. It is calculated that less than a year will be consumed in erecting this magnificent building which will cost an aggregate of $300,000, and which with its steel frame work and other fire proof characteristics will be among the most substantial office buildings on the Pacific Coast."
