"Hundreds of person look over the new type of fireproof structure which has just been erected here. Several hundreds of person accepted the invitation of the Trustee Company of Seattle yesterday afternoon to view the new Central Building, now roughly completed to the height of eight stories. It is on the east side of Third Avenue, covering the block between Marion and Columbia Streets. The building is of peculiar interest in that it is the pioneer of an absolutely new type of fireproof buildings.
