David Kenshin Kikuchi was born in Southern CA in 1931, and he lived there before he and his family were interred at Poston, AZ, during World War II. They returned to San Diego, CA, following the war where David attended high school.

He servied in the Korean War and then matriculated at the University of California, Berkeley, during the 1950s, studying architecture.

Following graduation, he returned to Southern CA, where he lived with his family for many years in Pasadena.

His father Kenji Kikuchi worked as a clergyman. His mother was Yoshi Kikuchi.

His parents had five children: Mariam Kikuchi, Thomas Kikuchi, Elizabeth Kikuchi and Anna Kikuchi.

Spouse

David Kikuchi married twice. He first wed Rachel Kikuchi.

His second marriage was to Maki Kikuchi.
