Member, Newport Beach and Costa Mesa Chambers of Commerce, Joint Special Research and Study Committee, Newport Beach and Costa Mesa, CA, 1968. This special committee researched building costs and made final recommendations as to whether the Chambers of Commerce of Newport Harbor and Costa Mesa, CA, should support the passage of a $15.9 million bond issue put before voters in those cities on 02/11/1969. The committee consisted of Beck, Kermit P. Dorius, a Corona del Mar architect and Robert Hench, who worked for a Newport Beach architectural firm.
