Relocation

Chester Reginald Phillips was born in Pittsburgh, PA on 03/12/1901, but his family had relocated to Everett, WA, by 1908. Prior to this, they spent a few years in CO, where Chester's younger brother, Walter, was born in 1904. The 1910 US Census recorded that the Phillips Family lived at 2215 Virginia Avenue in Everett.

Phillips and his family resided in a rented house at 1620 Redesdale Avenue in Los Angeles, CA, in 1940. They paid $38 per month for the dwelling, a modest sum at the time. He wed Lola Byle La Pere Phillips (born c. 1905 in MN) on 03/18/1924.
