Spouse

He wed Frederica (Fredda) Cool (born c. 07/1879 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada-d. 10/21/1918 in San Francisco, CA) in 1898. She passed away at age 38, possibly during the Influenza Pandemic of 1918.

He remarried to Anna Mosel (born 10/07/1907 in Germany-d. 08/1983 in San Francisco, CA).

Children

He and Fredda had a daughter, Barbara (born c. 06/1899 in San Francisco, CA).

With Anna Mosel, he had a daughter, Sybilla L. Shermund Janes McKeon (born c. 1935 in San Francisco, CA) and a son, Henry M. Shermund (born 04/23/1937 in San Francisco, CA). He lived in Walnut Creek, CA, in 1993.
