His father was Isaac Henry Crist (born c. 10/1852 in OH), his mother, Sarah J. Brubaker Crist (born 12/1853 in OH). Sarah came from a large Mennonite farming family that once lived in Lancaster, PA, and Macoupin County, IL. Isaac and Sarah had had seven children together, only six of whom survived in 1900. Five of the surviving children lived on the family farm in 1900, and they included Raymond J., (born c. 10/1878 in IL), Asa D. (born c. 01/1880 in IL), Calpernia (born c. 06/1882 in KS), Albert, and Roy Emmett Crist (born 09/06/1895 in KS-died 02/18/1980 in Lincoln, NE).

Spouse

Albert Beach Crist wed Nola Olive LeFevre Crist (born 1892 in TX-1935), c. 1916.

He married again to Dorothy Everett(born 01/25/1892 in NY-d. 01/24/1985 in Palm Springs, CA). They married in Imperial County, CA, on 02/10/1962.

Children

He and Nola had three children: Thelma Elaine Crist Bailey (1921-1988), Albert Belden Crist (1923-1986) and Colleen Carol Crist (1922-1992). Albert would follow his father's line of work and become a designer/builder of houses.

Biographical Notes

In 1917, Crist indicated that he could not serve in the military due to his association with the Church of the Brethren. His draft registration card described him as being tall, with a medium build, and brown eyes and dark brown hair.
