President, Morel Foundry Corporation, Seattle, WA. Morel came to the Seattle, WA, from France in 1907. In 1956, he owned a foundry at 533 West Spokane Street. A 1956 article in the Seattle Times profiled Morel: "Morel has done many castings which stand as memorials to his devotion to his adopted country, He made the iron castings for the Metropolitan Building structures and the Dexter Horton Building and has produced many busts and bas-reliefs. Morel said, 'I was trained to execute castings in an artistic manner. I'm proud of the ornamental work done for the Seattle Art Museum at Volunteer Park."
