Ira Earl had moved to Southern CA within three years, going into an architectural partnership with Eugene H. MacGibbon. He married in Santa Barbara, CA, in 1916, amd resided in Santa Monica, CA, when he applied for a US Passport in 04/1917. He intended to go on a pleasure trip to Chile, Brazil and Argentina starting on 04/27/1917 from Los Angeles's port of San Pedro, CA.
By 06/1917, Frary resided at 1434 North 2nd Street, Phoenix, AZ, with his wife and infant child. He passed away in Los Angeles, CA, at the age of 28.
Parents
His father, Ira Elmer Frary, (born c. 01/1863 in MI-d. 1932 in Chico, CA) worked in real estate. His mother, Helen F., (born 1865 in MI-d. 1935 in Chico, CA), maintained the household. They married c. 1886 and had four children, Ira Earl, Marjorie (born 08/1895 in MI), and Fred (born 10/1898 in MI-d. 1904 in Chicago, IL). One other child died in early childhood.
