Oddly, the Polk Seattle Directory Company's Seattle City Directory, 1901,contained two different office addresses for Donnellan. On page 411, they were listed in Rooms #603-604 in the Pacific Block, while on p. 1268 they were said to be in Rooms #435-436 of the Globe Building. (See Polk Seattle Directory Company's Seattle City Directory, 1901, p. 411 and 1268.) In 1906, Donnellan worked in an office in Room #319 of the Denny Building in Seattle. (See Polk Directory Company's Seattle City Directory, p. 408.)

He worked singly or in partnerships in Seattle, WA, between 1901 and 1906. In 1905, Donnellan boarded at 169 16th Avenue in Seattle. (See Polk Seattle Directory Company's Seattle City Directory, 1905, p. 422.) The following year he lodged at the Hotel Diller at 1216 1st Avenue in Downtown Seattle. (See Polk Seattle Directory Company's Seattle City Directory, 1906, p. 408.)
