Principal, Bernhardt E. Henriksen, Architect, San Francisco, CA, 1877-1883. Henriksen had an office at 126 Kearny Street (the southeast corner of Sutter and Kearny Streets) from at least 1877 until 1880, about two blocks from his residence at 328 Kearny. (See San Francisco, California, City Directory, 1877, p. 465, and San Francisco, California, City Directory, 1880, p. 972.) In 1883, Henriksen kept an office at 218 Post Street in San Francisco. In the same year, the firm of Eisen, Cuthbertson and Peirce maintained their office in the same building. (See the San Francisco, California, City Directory, 1883, p. 1106.)
Partner, Henriksen and [William C.] Mahoney, Architects, 1891- ; he and Mahoney designed three fire stations for the San Francisco Fire Department.
Relocation
Henriksen resided at 328 Kearny Street in San Francisco, CA, from at least 1876 until 1880. (See San Francisco California City Directory, 1876, p. 396 and San Francisco California City Directory, 1880,p. 434.) In 1883, he had moved to 735 McAllister Street. (See San Francisco California City Directory, 1883,p. 544.)
Henriksen died at age 49, and was buried at the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) Cemetery in San Francisco. Needing cemetery space on which to expand by 1903, the City of San Francisco reinterred his body (and those of 26,000 others formerly laid to rest at the IOOF Cemetery) at the Greenlawn Memorial Park, Colma, CA.

He was married to Ellen F.X. Henriksen (1849-1923). She lived at 1344 Fell Street in San Francisco in 1918. (See San Francisco California City Directory, 1918, p. 821.)
