They also donated to the Frank F. Conlon South Asia Fellowship Fund at the UW.

Pryde last lived in the 98004 zip code of Bellevue, WA. He became ill while on a skiing trip in Sun Valley, ID.

His father was Harry A. Pryde, Sr., (c. 1871-1932), who died prematurely in Seattle, WA, at the age of 61; his mother, Bertha E. Pryde (1887-1972) remarried Harry Morrison on 11/15/1933. His paternal grandparents were Ole Pryde and Annie Peterson. Pryde had one sister who survived him.

He married Ann L. Catoni, whom he met in an administrative law class at the University of Washington; they wed c. 1957.

He and Ann Pryde had three children.
