Personal

Born in what is now Garland, NE, Thomas migrated to OR in approximately 1898. He attended school at the State College of Washington in Pullman, c. 1903; Thomas transferred from Pullman to Oregon State College in Corvallis, OR, and then moved to Ithaca, NY, where he attended Cornell University. After Cornell, he found employment in New York, NY, and Vancouver, BC, before returning to OR. He worked for his entire career in either Portland or Bend, OR.

Lee A. Thomas married Hester Davis.
