One source differed as to the date of Solberg's birth. Solberg's World War II draft registration card listed it as 11/01/1886. This was incorrect. According to this card, Solberg, at age 55, was a Caucasian, with a light complexion. He stood 5-feet, 7-inches tall, and weighed 178 pounds. He had blue eyes and gray hair.
