One son, Robert Steinberg, became an architect and have a leadership role in the Steinberg Group, Architects. At his father's death in 2010, Rob Steinberg resided in Palo Alto.
Goodwin and Geraldine also had two other sons, Thomas Steinberg, who resided in New York and Israel in 2010, and Joan Steinberg Laurence who lived in Tsfat, Israel.
