Biographical Notes
Portions of Jennings's library were held at the University of Washington, Seattle, Built Environments Library. Before coming to Seattle, Jennings had a thriving practice in Evanston, IL, designed several houses included in city's Ridge Historic District: 1232 Ridge Avenue, 1404 Asbury Avenue, 1874 Asbury Avenue, 1560 Oak Avenue. He also designed a residence at 1401-1407 Elmwood Avenue, included in a 10/1972 inventory of Evanston's historic buildings by the State of IL Department of Conservation.
An earlier version of this record indicated that his middle name was "Austin," which was not correct.
