According to the U.S. Census of 1930, Rasque lived with his wife and son at 704 Ermina Avenue, Spokane, WA; the family owned this house, valued at $2700. In 1945, at the time of his son's death, Rasque lived at 514 Park Place, Spokane, WA.
Rasque's father, Mattaus H. Rasque, a carpenter, came from Ehrenfeld, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany; according to the U.S. Census of 1910, he came to the U.S. in 1873, and had been naturalized; George M. Rasque's mother, Sadie E., (born c. 1868 in WI), was a homemaker. Matt Rasque's father was German, his mother, French; Sadie's mother came from England (Wales), her father, NY. George Rasque had three other brothers: Joe (born c. 1888 in WI), Moody (born c. 1899 in MN) and John (born c. 1907 in MN). In 1930, Matt Rasque, Sadie and John lived in their own $2500 home in Hibbard, MN.
George M. Rasque married Mary B. Rasque (born c. 1891 in MN ) c. 1912. Her father came from Canada (English speaking) and her mother, PA. In the 1970s, he was married to Blanche H. Rasque.
Rasque's son, George W. (born c. 1914 in MT-d. 1945), was also an architect.
