His father, Wallace Burdette Hall, Sr., (born 05/13/1907 in NE-d. 01/02/1977 in Solano County, CA) worked as a packing house clerk in 1930, and an industrial engineer in a packing plant by 1940. Five years younger than her husband, Pauline Agnes Pounds (born 09/28/1911 in Placer County, CA-d. 01/14/1970 in San Mateo County, CA), wed Wallace in 1929.
