Bullitt was a lawyer and an executive with his family's broadcasting station, KING, in Seattle, WA, before turning his attention to real estate. He ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. Congress in 1952. Harbor Properties' contributed to the renovation and resurgence of Downtown Seattle, making a courageous investment with the Harbor Steps complex, built in stages between 1980-2000. He died at age 89, an important financial, cultural and philanthropic figure in the city.
