For the past 12 years Brodie, has focused almost exclusively on higher education . Her career has been strongly influenced by a passion for supporting an institution’s mission and for design/behavior studies. As master planner, programmer or architect, understanding the user experience is always at the forefront. Her approach to programming stems from a talent for listening to users and translating their needs into workable spaces. Brodie’s master plans include physical solutions that tie open space, connections and context to building function, placement, image. Where appropriate Brodie will develop a detailed capital plan that suports the institution's long term vision.
