In the late 1920s, Wallner was working for clients on Santa Catalina Island, including the chewing gum millionaire, Philip K. Wrigley, who owned a great deal of property there. Wallner designed houses for Sterling Homes in Glendale, CA, c. 1958. Wallner died at the Glendale Sanitorium, Glendale, CA.
