Principal, Warren H. Milner, Architect, Seattle, WA, 1908-1910, 1914-1927; Partner, Milner and [Edwin J.] Ivey, Seattle, WA, 1911; Milner mained two offices in the Arcade Building Annex, Room #207 (c. 1908) and Room #462 (c. 1909-1912). He moved to the Arcade Building from 1913-1915 (Room #4160), and then practiced in the Haight Building from 1916-1927 (Room #506). For most of his Seattle career, he operated a solo practice. At his death, the Seattle Times summarized his career: "Mr. Milner designed several Seattle buildings. Among them are the Moore Theatre and Moore Hotel, the old Clemmer Theatre, later named the Columbia Theatre; the Trianon Ballroom, and several Seattle apartment houses. He also was associated with the construction of the Great Northern Railroad tunnel and a courthouse in Chicago, Ill. The Trianon was Mr. Milner's last project." (See "Warren H. Relocation
At the end of his life, Milner resided in an apartment building at 218 Wall Street.
Parents/Immediate Family
So far as is known, Warren Milner was not survived by any immediate family. The Seattle Times reported in its obituary for him that, "Mr. Milner is survived by a cousin in California." (See "Warren H. Milner, Retired Architect, Dies at 85." Seattle Times, 06/23/1949, p. 11.)
