Born in Mississippi, Frank Ellerbe, as a four-year-old boy lived in Mankato, MN, in 1875. He lived her with his mother, Anna and his two sisters, Rose and Rebecca. The 1880 US Census noted that Frank, Anna and Rachel Ellerbe continued to reside in Mankato, MN.
