Michael Houser, the State of WA Architectural Historian, indicated that the partnership, Walker, McGough and Trogdon, formed periodically to work on various individual projects between 1958 and 1977.

In 1940, McGough lived with his parents and siblings in a rented house at 415 South Polk Street in Moscow, ID. They paid $22 per month in rent. The US Census of 1940 indicated that they also lived in Moscow in 1935. In 1955, he and his wife lived at North 5522 Jefferson Street in Spokane. (See Spokane, Washington, City Directory, 1955, p. 560.)

McGough's last residence was in the 99203 zip code of Spokane, WA.

He passed away at age 80 and was buried at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Spokane, WA.


His parents were John Patrick McGough (1889-1974) and Florence Mae Witt (1901-1967). In 1940, John P. McGough drove a newspaper delivery truck and Florence managed the household.

McGough's siblings included Frank McGough (born c. 1930 in WA) and Dorothy Ann McGough Munson (born 05/17/1927 in WA).


He married Eleanor Marie Lampman (born 03/31/1926-d. 07/27/2014) on 08/21/1948 in Moscow, Latah County, ID.
