The American Architect and Architecture included a note in its 12/17/1919 issue: "Ellis W. Taylor, C.E., has returned to Los Angeles after service in the U.S. Navy for the past two and one-half years. He is now associated with his brother, Edward C. Taylor, architect, with offices at 607 Merritt Building." (See "Personal," American Architect and Architecture, vol. 116, no. 2295, 1919, p. 763.)

The Architect and Engineer reported in 01/1920: "Messrs. Edward Cray Taylor and Ellis Wing Taylor, have moved their offices from 605 Merritt building, to larger quarters in suite 807 Merritt Building, Los Angeles." (See "Personal," Architect and Engineer, vol. LX, no. 1, 01/1920, p. 113.)

Taylor died c. 1946.
