Principal, E.B. Brown, Architect, Stockton, CA, c. 1909-1912. In 1909, Brown maintained Office #525 in Stockton's Yosemite Theatre Building. (See Polk-Husted Directory Company's Stockton City Directory, 1909, p. 83.) The Polk-Husted Directory Co's Stockton City and San Joaquin County Directory 1915, (p. 332) indicated that Brown made his office at 134 North El Dorado Street. His was one of seven architectural firms listed in that year.

Born in MI in 1869, Edgar B. Brown's family migrated to Los Angeles, CA, at an early date. He moved to Stockton, CA, from Los Angeles c. 1905.
In 1909, Brown resided at a rooming house on the southwest corner of West Rose Street and North Monroe Street.
Parents
He had at least two brothers, including Carroll H. Brown (1861-1920), a successful architect in Los Angeles, and Guernsey Brown, who resided in Honolulu, HI, in 1925. A sister became Mrs. Herbert G. Wylie, wife of the President of the Pan-American Petroleum andTransport Company.
