Notes:
History of the Firm Since our founding by John H. Sellen in 1944, Sellen Construction Company has been part of the phenomenal growth of the Pacific Northwest. We've had the good fortune to work with a collection of world-class companies, organizations and public institutions that make this their home. Our clients tell us that over the years we have become more than a trusted and innovative construction company -- today we're a strategic partner and a valuable member of their development teams. Sellen is owned and operated by its key employees. We’re led by a talented management team that includes Richard C. Redman, Chairman; Robert E. Barrett, CEO; and Robert P. McCleskey, President & COO — each with 20 years or more in the company. Sellen's annual construction volume has grown from $25 million in 1979 to more than $350 million in 2000. Along the way we've assembled a community of the best and brightest in our industry — project managers, project engineers, support staff, and 650 field personnel, including superintendents, field engineers, foremen and union craftspeople — all of whom are proud to contribute their energy to shaping the future of the Pacific Northwest."
