Certified the EIR and approved the design and financing of the Environmental Services Facility, UCLA. The proposed project would construct a new chemical and radioactive waste handling facility to contain 15,566 assignable square feet. The site is bounded by the western edge of parking structure 8, Young (formerly Circle) Drive West, Strathmore Place and the parking structure 8 access drive. The project would be funded by hospital reserves ($3 million), campus funds ($540,000) and external financing ($4,906,000).
