Opened in the fall of 1991, General Cinemas operated the theater with THX Sound System, equipped with Ultra Stereo and then in 1993 it was equipped with DTS and SDDS digital sound. It was opened along with a new office space building and a McDonalds. On April 7, 2002, AMC Theatres merged with the General Cinemas chain and simply owned the theater for nearly three months before it briefly became an independent chain. Today, the theater is now known as Glendale Cinemas and has recently been remodeled. Contributed by Joseph Anthony Sobora
