"In 1990 we opened the Midway Residential Program to serve older adults transitioning into community housing from nursing homes and hospitals as part of OBRAs 1987 legislation. Surplused military houses provided the setting and seven-day-a-week intensive staffing provided the support to help the residents succeed."
