The Coca-Cola Building in Seattle, WA, dated from 1939, contemporaneous with another Coke bottling plant in Providence, RI. A City of Providence website with an historic resource inventory for the city, noted that, "In 1939, the company built the present structure designed by the Atlanta architectural firm of Robert and Company, which was retained by Coca-Cola,to design Coca-Cola bottling plants. This plant, with others like it constructed between 1927 and 1949, was built from one of a series of plans sanctioned by the Coca-Cola Company's Committee on Standards, which approved designs for all company products."
