This firm succeeded Laver, Mullany and Laver, that existed between 1890 and 1893. It appears that Charles Laver (1868-1906), son of Augustus Laver (1834-1898), left the profession during the Depression of 1893, and never went back to it. Laver practiced with the younger, Irish-born Patrick Mullany (1856-1902) from 1894 until 1897. Augustus passed away in 1898, and Mullany died three years later.
