Buffalo-born architect Henry L.A. Jekel worked briefly in Riverside, CA, in 1911-1912, working as a structural consultant to architect Myron Hunt on the 1st Congregational Church #3 . He returned to live here permanently in 1921, and developed a diverse architecxture/civil engineering practice between1921 until about 1940.
