Firm Notes
This firm was founded in 1967 in Portland, OR, by Harold Peterson, Sidney Nielsen and two other engineers who left the Portland Office of the Chicago-based architectural firm, Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. It became known as "PAE Consulting Engineers" in 1986. PAE opened its lighting division, Luma Lighting Design, in 2001.
In 2010, the firm founded an office in San Francisco, CA, followed by branches in Seattle, WA (2013) and Eugene, OR, (2014.)
