Based in Seattle, Bassetti / Norton / Metler / Rothschild Architects succeeded the firm of Fred Bassetti and Company, in 02/1980. (See Sally Gene Mahoney, "Downtown-housing statistics need discussion," Seattle Times, 02/03/1980, p. K8.) The firm changed its name to "Bassetti / Norton / Metler Architects" when Kenneth Jay Rothschild left the firm by 1981.
