Firm Notes
Starks practiced on his own following employment with the theatre architect Thomas W. Lamb in New York c. 1917-1921. He then formed two partnerships, the first, Hemmings and Starks, operated for only one year, 1923-1924, and the second, Starks and Flanders, lasted 16 years until 1941. Starks worked on his own after Flanders and retired in 1965. Starks's successor firm was known as Nacht and Lewis in 2016.
