Firm Notes
The architectural firm of Mithun and Associates operated its main office in Bellevue, WA. This firm followed the partnership of Mithun and Nesland (1952-1955), and preceded Mithun, Ridenour and Cochran (1958-1960). After 1960, and the departure of Ridenour and Cochran into their own partnership, it reverted to the name "Mithun and Associates" name until the mid-1970s, when it began to be called "Mithun and Associates" as well as "The Mithun Associates."
After 1975, newspaper articles in the Seattle Times increasingly referred to the firm as "The Mithun Associates." This lasted until the firm changed its name to the "Mithun Bowman Emrich Group, Architects" by around 04/08/1984.
