This Spanish Colonial Revival Style house was finished during the last week of June or first week of July 1925. DeLario designed a two-story dwelling that stepped down the hillside on one end. It featured a Spanish tile roof, stucco walls, and wrought iron balconies. Harry F. Haldeman became a prominent plumbing, heating and air conditioning supplier in Southern California; he served as a significant contributor to the Republican Party causes in Los Angeles and nationally. His son, Harry Robbins (H.R.) Haldeman, was born 10/27/1926 and raised here. Haldeman went into advertising for the J.Walter Thompson Advertising Agency in New York and Los Angeles, got into poliltics working for fellow Californian, Richard Nixon, and later became infamous for his involvement in the Watergate Conspiracy in 1972-1973. H.R. Haldeman was jailed for 18 months in 1975-1976.
