Architect Carl Gould (1873-1939) designed this stately brick Colonial Revival house in the Capitol Hill Neighborhood of Seattle, WA for F.H. Brownell, for whom he also designed a Bainbridge Island vacation house in 1915.
The firm of Bebb and Gould undertook some remodeling work in the Brownell House in 1914.
