An early and influential International Style office building in San Francisco, CA; architects, Hertzka and Knowles of San Francisco, CA, acted as Associated Architects on the 20-sotry project.
The building's steel frame had been completed by 05/1958. (A notice of the building's construction was published in the Weekly Commercial News, vol. 116, 1958, page unknown.)
In 1962, Skidmore, Owings and Merrill had their San Francisco, CA, offices in the Crown Zellerbach Building #2. The address of the Crown Zellerbach Building was also known as "1 Bush Plaza."
