Overview
The University of Washington, Seattle, Bookstore #1 was located just behind Denny Hall to the northwest. It was demolished in the early 1920s to make way for the creation of the Memorial Way entrance to the University off of 45th Street.
Building History
At one point, this building served as the bookstore, a chemistry building, and the architecture building at the same time.
Demolition
The building was torn down in 1922, so that Memorial Way could be constructed. In 1926, the University Bookstore operated at 4326-4328 University Way, its same address in 2013.
