This 6,000 square-foot, h-planned residence was on the real estate market in 2007 for an asking price of 5.195 million. Villa Santa Lucia covered 1.2 acres and contained a pool, tennis court, guesthouse, gymnasium, sauna, hot tub, and a casita that housed a bar. It had a Spanish Colonial Revival character, with plaster walls, tile roof, beamed ceilings, and revivalistic fireplaces. It was notable for its length, sprawling on one story across its lot, and its time of construction. Few houses got built in 1934, during the depths of the Depression, but some well-to-do Californians took advantage of the era's low prices to build new vacation houses.
