Levine / Seegel Associates supervised HVAC renovations, new plumbing fixtures and electrical work in guest rooms, redesign of public facilities, and modifications to site lighting to this 7-story hotel. The hotel closed on 06/09/2007 for another renovation; the French designer, Philippe Starck, was hired to redesign the Meridien, transforming it into the SLS Los Angeles. It was slated to re-open in 03/2008.
